BIKE PROGRAM : COLORS OF UTHAI THANI

08.00  Drive by car from Country Lake to the temple Wat Had Tanong where we will start biking. Visit local primary school nearby the temple (except weekends and school holidays).

08.30  communities , local shops, rice fields, fruit orchards, banana and papaya plantation etc. On the ways guests can see spirit houses, herbs and spice trees, colorful flowers around villager’s house as well as bamboo plantations. In some months, guests can also see farmers planting or harvesting rice in the fields.

After 5 km biking, visit a famous small home industry making high quality of knifes, which
made of imported steel. Continue biking for 500 meters to one of the biggest pamelo (Thai big grape fruits) plantation where guests can see and taste pamelo, which is one of the most delicious fruits of Thailand. Cold water and soft drinks are served here for refreshment.

Further bike for 2.5 km  to Tong Ta Now aroma house where incense sticks are made. Demonstration of how incense sticks with several fragrances are made including jasmine, lemon grass etc. Cold towels are served here. Enjoy shopping before continue biking (3km) to view Sakaekrang River. Enjoy an exciting bike crossing a hanging wooden bridge across the Sakaekrang River. Stop at the temple Wat Khumsap to fill up your energy with some snacks and drinks.

Then continue biking (5km) along the river to the famous temple Wat Ubosatharam where guests can see beautiful old mural paintings and European style Vihara, built during the reign of King Rama V.  Around 11.00 end of the bike tour.

As a combination, guests can continue biking to the boat pier (2km) for a boat cruise on the Sakaekrang River or by car to visit Hub Patad Cave in Khao Plara Mountain Range.
